JUAN CUADRADO
The Colombian wide midfielder has had an eventful summer after a successful showing at the World Cup. The Fiorentina winger has been heavily linked in rumors with a move to Old Trafford.
Cuadrado’s speed and passing abilities were both key factors to help Colombia advance to the quarterfinals before losing to Brazil 2-1.
Cuadrado loves to attack and posses the ball on offense more than contribute on defense. Manager Louis Van Gaal appreciates players like Cuadrado since the speedy Colombian will do whatever it takes to advance the ball to create scoring opportunities.
With Manchester United lacking in speed with their current forwards Robin van Persie and Wayne Rooney, Cuadrado would be a great addition to the current squad. Cuadrado would fill a role, in terms of pace, passing, and attacking prowess that has been missing since Cristiano Ronaldo was at Old Trafford.
The Colombian can fit into a winger role and control the flanks, as well as roam around the midfield looking for every chance to drive the ball forward. The combination of superb dribbling, passing, and shooting would be a terrific upgrade and would make an immediate impact in the starting lineup for the Red Devils.
