3. Antoine Griezmann
Álvaro Morata is tired of being a sub at Real Madrid and will most likely leave the club shortly. Many high profile strikers have been linked to a move to the Bernabéu, but Benzema has definitely convinced Ancelotti that he deserves to be the starting striker. In order to keep the competition running, but without the need to spend upwards of 50 or 60 million euros for a star striker, Madrid should go for Antoine Griezmann.
The young French international had a great season with Real Sociedad and has been steadily garnering attention from Europe’s top clubs. At just 23 years old, Antoine is more than ready to make the move to a big club. He already played with Benzema during the World Cup, he knows La Liga extremely well and can play in different positions in attack. These are all things that Real Madrid considers when signing players. Griezmann is becoming too big to play at Real Sociedad, so it’s time for him to leave. Buying him would be rather reasonable, since his release clause is only 30 million euros. The good relationship that Madrid has with La Real also serves a plus. Ancelotti can’t and probably won’t just settle with Benzema for this upcoming season, and Griezmann is the right man to bring some competition and versatility to his attack.
