2. Aymeric Laporte
Another potential Puyol replacement could be 20-year-old Aymeric Laporte from Athletic Bilbao. He has only appeared in 53 league games with Athletic Bilbao and has scored two goals so far. With a 2013-2014 promising season, it was once again rumored that Laporte was on the Barcelona radar. He may not have much experience, but what he does not have in experience he definitely makes up for in everything else. He is a fairly young 6’2 versatile player, being able to play both central defender as well as a left back.
