Wilfried Bony

Swansea City had taken a major risk in splashing a club record fee of £13.5million to acquire the services of Wilfried Bony in the summer.

While Bony had a ridiculously good goalscoring record at Vitesse, not all strikers can replicate their fine form in another nation and the failures of Roberto Soldado, Ricky van Wolfswinkel and Jozy Altidore proved that the Premier League is a different kettle of fish.

However, the 25-year old was simply superb for the Swans, scoring 17 goals for a poor Swansea City side this season.

Bony is a beast of a striker who possesses pace, power and surprisingly a fine touch as well, and the striker looks tailor made to play in the Premier League. It is no surprise that a couple of top teams have already laid their eyes on the striker and surely Swansea City must to all they can to keep hold of the Ivorian star.
