At the KC Stadium, Hull City was the host of Newcastle United. In a match that home fans will look to forget as soon as possible, Newcastle thrashed the Tigers. The result was 4:1 with a brace from Sissoko and goals from Remy and Anita. This match ended the undefeated streak of Hull in the last three competitive games and was a second consecutive victory for Newcastle. But, apart from all of this, there was one moment that is rarely seen in Premier League stadiums – Newcastle manager, Alan Pardew, did something completely unreasonable! For no reason, while his team was in the lead with 1:3, he hit Irish international and Hull’s midfielder Meyler.
It is really disappointing to see these scenes, especially since the player reacted with the intention to physically settle the score with the manager. For this action, Pardew was shown the red card and we will see what further actions will be taken against him (Pardew has already been fined by Newcastle). Bearing in mind that he had an incident with Pelegrini two months ago, it is quite possible to expect Pardew to spend some time away from the pitch.
