Arsenal FC is purportedly preparing a bid within the region of £30M for Spanish sensation Isco. Reports that emerged this week suggested that there has been a fall out between manager Carlo Ancelloti and the Spaniard over training techniques and team selections.
Despite making a decent start to the campaign, the youngster has lost his place in the starting XI under the Italian’s stewardship, all thanks to the fine form of Gareth Bale and the rejuvenated Luka Modric.
The 21-year old, who is known to hold the premier league in high esteem, is desperate for first team selection and as such, could be set for a move away from the Bernabeu.
With his silky passing and good vision for the ball, it comes as no surprise that the Gunner’s boss has made no secret of his interest in the creativity of the attacking-midfielder.
Although Arsenal are said to have made an inquiry into the availability of the player in the last transfer window, the talks failed to materialize as the Spanish giants kept Arsenal off Isco’s scent.
Isco made headlines in England last summer after rumours emerged that the former Malaga play-maker would follow his manager Manuel Pellergini as he [Pellegrini] took over the reins of power at Manchester City.
This wasn’t to be, as Isco snubbed his former manager and chose to stay in Spain, playing in the Spanish Capital of Madrid.
With the backing of the club’s board, Wenger could just bring in the unsettled Madrid star to the North London club in the summer.
