Liverpool might sign the Ghanaian midfielder, Emmanuel Agyemang Badu in the summer. Badu, now playing for Udinese in the Italian Serie A, has also been the transfer target of Arsenal and Spurs. However, reports say that Liverpool are in the pole position to sign the 23-year-old midfielder because he has ambitions to win major trophies.

Badu, whose contract with Udinese will end in 2016, was monitored by Brendan Rodgers in December and 7 million pounds has been prepared for his summer transfer move.

Although Badu is only 23 years old, he has already won more than 40 caps for Ghana. He started his career with Berlin FC and then, he moved to Berekum Arsenal in 2006. After that, he was on loan to two different clubs, Asante Kotoko and Recreativo Huelva. In 2010, he was signed by Udinese and played for the Udine club until now.

A young ambitious player, he still has a long future career and it is not a surprise that he still has some dreams that he wants to realize in his career.

“I want to be remembered as a player who won the African (player of the year), the European (footballer of the year), or a Champions League medal. I know it is a long road but I’m ready to make the dream come to reality,” said Badu.

Although Emmanuel Agyemang Badu is only 23 years old, he has already drawn some big clubs’ attention. Liverpool have also shown their interest in him and might sign him in the summer transfer window.
