Having been such a big part of Club America so recently, it is almost certain that all of the players are mourning his loss. Nonetheless, Miguel Herrera will surely use this as motivation to have his players perform at a high level; what better way to honor a great player than by winning.
It will also be interesting to see whether the Mina-Jimenez duo will be as effective as the Benitez-Jimenez duo that was so successful the previous season. In the Clausura 2013, Mina was relegated to the bench due to the great play by Jimenez, this season, Mina will be expected to perform and either score or create plenty of goals.
