In what turned out to be the most exciting match of the week, a resilient Atlas overcame a 1 goal deficit to win a key game 2-1 against America in front of an excited home crowd. The first half was dominated by America, and it appeared they would walk away with the away win. However, in the second half, Atlas came out and scored 2 goals in 25 minutes. Atlas is now 2 points ahead of Queretaro in the relegation battle.
