The first edition of the Copa MX is almost complete. After the group stage and the quarter finals, no Liga MX teams were left in the competition. The semifinals will feature four teams from the Ascenso MX, all of which are playoff contenders. Necaxa made it to this stage by eliminating Toluca, Dorados defeated San Luis, Neza beat Pachuca, and Correcaminos won against Xolos.
