Italian Tuttosport has reported that Juventus are seriously interested in bringing Liverpool’s Emre Can to their ranks.
The German international’s contract with Liverpool expires at the end of the season, and Juve are well known for bringing players on a free transfers. Therefore the situation with Can can be an ideal opportunity for them.
The 23-year-old footballer has been linked to a move to Italy for several months, as Juventus set him as a possible successor to Sami Khedira.
For now, there have been no concrete steps by the Turin based team, however in January, they will be able to negotiate with the player over a possible agreement.
Can is a very strong player, has good vision and a powerful shot, and is one of the most consistent midfielders in Jurgen Klopp’s squad.
The ex-Bayer Leverkusen player is one of Liverpool’s key figures, but he does not seem to want to extend the contract at Anfield and a departure to Juventus seems a realistic option for the German international.
