Leeds United reportedly close to signing 20-year-old from Premier League giants

ESPN reports that Manchester United defender Cameron Borthwick-Jackson is about to be loaned to Leeds United.

The Peacocks boss Thomas Christiansen is keen on reaching this 20-year-old, and according to the Sun, he’s willing to offer a transfer move because he sees as a long-term solution for the left back position.

Borthwick-Jackson is not in the first team plans of Manchester United’s manager Jose Mourinho and the club from Elland Road wants to use this to their advantage.

Two years ago, the defender debuted for Manchester United under the leadership of Louis Van Gaal, and he appeared 14 times for the Red Devils.

After Van Gaal had been sacked, even the defender’s career at Old Trafford seemingly finished. Cureent boss Jose Mourinho loaned him to the Wolverhampton last season, where Borthwick-Jackson played only 6 games.

He was a member of all of England’s youth national teams, but unfortunately for him, this didn’t affect Mourinho’s decisions.  Having in mind that Leeds United and Manchester United often made very good transfers (Rio Ferdinand, Smith) despite their rivalry, this movie is pretty realistic.
