Real Madrid are ready to offer a new long-term contract to Liverpool target Marco Asensio with a release clause worth a colossal £310 million according to The Independent.

Asensio has attracted interest from several clubs after a fantastic breakthrough season helping his team to the La Liga title and Champions League with 10 goals and 3 assists, playing mostly off the bench.

Recently, his U-21 hat-trick for Spain against Macedonia, locked in the admiration of soccer fans from across the world.

The Los Blancos are now looking to reward their 21-year-old with a new contract, affirming him of his part in the club’s future, along with a huge release clause to ward off any clubs looking to sign the young Spanish winger.

Liverpool had already seen a £50 million bid rejected during the January transfer window for Asensio and while he has been linked again with a move to Anfield this summer, Madrid are not ready to lose their young star for anything short of £310 million!
