Leeds United plotting a move for 20-year-old League One star

HITC have claimed that Leeds United, Burnley and Queens Park Rangers are eyeing Coventry City midfielder George Thomas.

Thomas helped Coventry clinch the EFL trophy as he scored the winner against Oxford United on Sunday which saw him scoop the man of the match award.

The 20-year-old, who is a product of Coventry’s youth development system, has established himself as a regular within the first team and bagged 7 goals from 30 appearances this season.

The Sky Blues are struggling to avoid relegation in League one and Thomas will surely want to move to a club that is higher up in the football hierarchy in order to progress his career.

Despite Coventry being a massive 13 points adrift of safety from relegation in League One, Thomas has been one of the shining lights in the otherwise below par outfit. His presence was key to them winning the EFL trophy.
