Confirmed: Arsenal complete the signing of young star

Arsenal have completed the signing of Romanian youngster Vlad Dragomir

There is probably no other manager in the world who can spot young talent as well as Arsene Wenger and in his relentless pursuit to bring in promising players to the club, it can be confirmed that Arsenal have completed the recruitment of Romania Under-16 captain Vlad Dragomir.

Dragomir signs with Arsenal from ACS Poli Timisoara for a fee of around €100,000 (£71,000) and has signed a three year deal at the Emirates Stadium.

It has been revealed that the Gunners’ managed to fend off competition from Italian giants Inter Milan in order to secure the services of the young prodigy.

Upon the completion of the signing, Dragomir described Arsenal as the best place for him to develop as a player. He said, “I am very glad and I hope not to disappoint anyone. The Arsenal offer seemed the best to me, I felt that this is my place.”

Dragomir’s agent, Catalin Sarmasan, stated that Arsenal have been monitoring the Romanian for over a year now and described him as one of the most talented young players in Europe.

Sarmasan said, “I offered Vlad to Arsenal a year and a half ago and they have monitored him closely. In my opinion, he is one of the most talented young players in Europe at the moment.”

Dragomir will begin his career at Arsenal as a first-year scholar and the club will surely have high hopes on the young star for the future.
