Liverpool reportedly face fierce competition for the signing of Brazilian keeper

Anfield

According to the Liverpool Echo, the French heavyweights Paris Saint-Germain have joined Liverpool in the race for the highly-rated Roma goalkeeper Alisson Becker.

Real Madrid are reportedly also interested in his services, but Manchester United star David De Gea seems to be their first option.

The Reds have been looking for a new shot-stopper since the beginning of January, but they will need to complete this campaign with Simon Mignolet and Loris Karius.

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is determined to bring a reliable keeper, with Alisson and Jan Oblak residing on the top of the list.

However, PSG will be a tough competitor since Liverpool can hardly compete with their financial capability. The Parisians have been on the trail of AC Milan sensation Gianluigi Donnarumma as Unai Emery is looking to replace Kevin Trapp and Alphonse Areola.

Apparently, they are no longer interested in the Italian wonderkid, and the Merseysiders could face serious trouble in their pursuit of the Brazil international.
