26-year-old admits he want to join Celtic at the end of the season
Goalkeeper Scott Bain, who is on loan at Celtic from Dundee, has suggested that he is hoping to make his deal permanent at the end of the season.
“I don’t think I’ll be back at Dundee,” Bain told The Daily Record. “My focus is here, on loan for the rest of the season.
“I’ll do whatever I can to make this a permanent move when I’m a free agent in the summer.
“Looking back it’s probably the best thing that has ever happened to me in my whole football career, what went on at Dundee, because I’ve ended up here.”
The 26-year-old joined the Hoops on transfer deadline day and is currently set to remain at Parkhead till the end of the season.
Bain was brought to Parkhead as cover for first-choice Craig Gordon, who is currently out of action through injury.
Bain is arguably one of the best shot-stoppers in Scotland and with Gordon now nearly past his peak, he could launch a serious challenge for the first-choice position at the Hoops.
