Liverpool reportedly looking for a double swoop for duo from giants

Anfield

The Daily Express have broadcasted the news from the Spanish newspaper Don Balon regarding the potential interest from Liverpool and Sevilla in Real Madrid players, Lucas Vasquez and Nacho, as Los Blancos are planning significant summer changes.

The 28-year-old defender can play as a centre-half as well as left-back, but next to Sergio Ramos, Raphael Varane, and Marcelo, he had found very little room and might consider leaving Santiago Bernabeu for some regular first-team action.

Vasquez is basically sharing Nacho’s faith, as Zinedine Zidane prefer Gareth Bale, Marco Asensio, and club’s superstar Cristiano Ronaldo over him. Considering the pacey winger is already 26, departing Madrid could be a right option for him.

And, manager Jurgen Klopp could take advantage of such a situation, to reinforce the backline and provide some depth to his attacking ranks.

Sevilla could also try to secure Lucas Vasquez after unconvincing performances from Franco Vasquez and Nolito, but Florentino Perez will have the final word.
