According to the Daily Star, Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers is going to give another chance to Eboue Kouassi to prove his worth after disappointing performances from the Ivorian midfielder.
The 20-year-old player has arrived at Celtic Park from the Russian side Krasnodar last January for a reported fee of £3 million but failed to make an impact ever since.
Kouassi was tipped to leave Glasgow this winter after miserable six months in the Scottish Premiership, but after the injuries of Tom Rogic and Stuart Armstrong, Rodgers is forced to keep him due to lack of midfielders.
Werder Bremen, Genk, Standard Liege, and Amiens have all tabled their offers for the powerful defensive midfielder earlier this month.
However, the Hoops are facing a long run this season, as they have commitments in the domestic championship, as well as in the Europa League, and they need some depth, which seems to be the only reason why Kouassi is still there.
