According to the Daily Mail, Chelsea starlet, Charly Musonda, is set to sign an 18-month loan deal with the Scottish champions Celtic.
The 21-year-old forward has shown great potential during his loan spell with Primera side Real Betis. He is a skillful winger, known for his devastating pace and acceleration, combined with great technical predispositions.
However, Antonio Conte hasn’t given him enough space next to Pedro, Willian, and Eden Hazard, leaving a loan option as the only reasonable solution.
The Hoops boss Brendan Rodgers would like to bolster his team ahead of the second half of the season, as Celtic are expected to challenge Zenit St Petersburg in the Europa League and also to defend the Scottish Premiership title.
The Belgium U-21 international will replace the injured Scott Sinclair, and help Leigh Griffiths and Moussa Dembele in the final third.
Musonda is expected to complete his move to Celtic Park this Monday after undergoing medicals.
