Danny Mills has given Everton advice on what they can do during the remainder of the transfer window this month in order to ensure that they can have a successful Premier League season under Sam Allardyce this term.
The Toffees spent heavily last summer and recruited the likes of Jordan Pickford, Cuco Martina, Wayne Rooney, Gylfi Sigurdsson, Michael Keane, Sandro Ramirez and Davy Klaassen.
From all the players, only Pickford, Rooney and Sigurdsson have been impressive and the Toffees struggled in front of goal during the first half of the season which ultimately led to the sacking of former manager Ronald Koeman.
They brought in Theo Walcott and Cenk Tosun this month but Mills wants to see the club further bolster their attacking ranks.
He said: “I think if he can bring in another striker he will be very, very happy. He knows they need an out and out goalscorer, if he can find that I think he will be very, very happy.”
