According to reports, Liverpool are still in the running to sign Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang though it is Arsenal who remain the favourites to sign the ultra-quick attacker.
The Gunner are currently the favourites to complete the signing of the Gabon international who is likely to serve as a replacement for Alexis Sanchez who has since joined Manchester United.
Despite being in good form this season for Dortmund, Aubameyang has fallen down the pecking order, presumably due to his attitude and has been left out of the clubs squad for their last two games.
Dortmund Chief Executive Hans-Joachim Watzke confirmed that Arsenal had made an approach for the striker when he said: “I can confirm that there has been a first enquiry from Arsenal for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.”
Popular Bookmakers Betfairhave priced Arsenal as the favourites to land the 28-year-old at 1/5. Liverpool meanwhile are in second place at 16/1.
