Italian giants reportedly make an official offer for Liverpool wantaway attacker

Sturridge

According to the Daily Mirror, Inter Milan have made an official approach for the Liverpool outcast Daniel Sturridge, who seems destined to leave Anfield this January.

The same source has suggested, the Italian giants have proposed a loan deal with an option to make it permanent next summer.

The Reds boss Jurgen Klopp has already pointed out, he is not ready to let the 29-year-old forward join another Premier League club, preferring to send him abroad.

The former Manchester City player has had a miserable first half of the season, struggling to break into the Liverpool first-team.

Sturridge is desperate to leave Anfield for a regular first-team action to enhance his World Cup chances, and Luciano Spalletti is ready to offer him a starting-eleven spot next to Mauro Icardi.

Some previous statements have hinted Sevilla as Sturridge’s next destination, but the Andalusian club has failed to meet Liverpool’s demand.

As things stand, Inter could snatch the versatile forward, as they are looking to make Champions League promotion this year.
