According to reports, Real Madrid have entered the race to sign Liverpool midfielder Emre Can.
The German’s current contract at Anfield is set to expire during the summer and as he has yet to sign a new deal with the club, it looks as though he will be headed for a fresh challenge.
Though Liverpool are hoping that Can will sign a new deal, Jurgen Klopp has revealed that he only wants to keep players who want to play for the club so the chances are very likely that Can will be finding a new club next season amid interest from Bayern Munich, Juventus and now Los Blancos.
Can has been getting rave reviews all season and recently said that he would carry giving his all for the Reds as he said: “I still have a contract here until the end of the season. I give everything for the club, I will try to give everything for the club.
“The rest is down to my agent, and I’m just responsible for performances on the pitch. Of course, if I have a contract I will always give my best.”
