According to SportsMole and Sky Sports, Everton are unlikely to make a move for Leicester striker Jamie Vardy this month.
Toffees boss Sam Allardyce is said to be a fan of the England international, who he sees as a possible candidate to lead his line.
Following poor performances from the Toffees during the first half of the season, particularly in front of goal, they forked out close to £50 million this month and signed Cenk Tosun and Theo Walcott from Besiktas and Arsenal respectively, in order to bolster their attack.
Allardyce however has since said that he is unlikely to make any more additions to the side till the summer.
It now appears that the Toffees will wait till the summer before tabling a bid for Vardy.
It remains to be seen whether Vardy will be open to leaving the Foxes.
He made history during the 2015-16 season when he played a crucial role in helping his club shockingly win the Premier League title.
