Newcastle United defender Kyle Cameron is wanted by Scottish Premiership side Hearts on loan till the end of the season, as per reports.
The 21-year-old is yet to make his senior bow for the Magpies despite being with the club since he was 9 years old, and has been loaned out thrice, with his last coming at League 2 side Newport County.
Cameron is currently with the under-23’s, featuring in 10 Premier League 2 games thus far and chipping in a goal.
A loan move north of the boarder to Hearts could be career-changing for the Scotland youth international, as the exposure that comes with playing in the Scottish topflight would go a long way preparing him for the immediate future.
Given how well he has progressed on the international scene, playing for the England under-16’s before switching allegiance to Scotland where he has represented the under-17’s, under-19’s and under-21’s, Cameron looks like a player that has the potential to make the grade at Saint James’ Park.
