The Daily Star have reported that Moussa Dembele could be on his way out from Celtic in January transfer window, as he is looking to feature for the French World Cup team.
The 21-year-old striker is the man in demand after several Premier League, and Championship clubs approached Celtic to ask for his services. Brighton & Hove Albion seems to be leading the chase for Dembele’s signature.
Dembele is considered as one of the most promising young attackers in Europe following his exquisite displays in green-white jersey.
The powerful forward fancies his chances to break into the French national squad, believing that Premier League football would benefit his odds more than playing in the Europa League.
France manager Didier Deschamps has numerous major strikers at his disposal, including Antoine Griezmann, Alexandre Lacazette, Olivier Giroud, and Kylian Mbappe.
Nonetheless, Dembele’s performances since his arrival at Celtic Park give him every right to hope for his World Cup spot.
