According to The Liverpool Echo, Everton will consider recalling left-back Brendan Galloway from his nightmarish loan spell at Sunderland during the current window.
The 21-year-old is not in the first-team plans of new Black Cats boss Chris Coleman, playing just 2 games since the Welsh took over last November.
Galloway spent last season on loan at West Bromwich Albion, and could return to Goodison Park for a chance to impress manager Sam Allardyce or leave for another loan spell till the end of the campaign.
The England youth international featured prominently for Everton during the 2015-16 campaign, playing 15 Premier League games.
The versatile Galloway could help add depth to Allardyce’s backline provided he is able to rediscover his once promising-form, but a loan move looks more feasible for the Zimbabwe-born who is still highly regarded at the Merseyside club.
