Liverpool handed huge blow in hopes of signing goalkeeper target

According to the Sky Sports, Paris-Saint Germain goalkeeper Kevin Trapp is satisfied with his current situation at the club and has no intention to leave this January.

Trapp has been followed by Liverpool over the recent weeks, but it seems manager Jurgen Klopp would have to search for other alternatives.

Merseyside club is searching for a goalkeeper, as both Simon Mignolet and Loris Karius proved to be unreliable. The Belgian keeper had big ups and downs over the last couple of seasons, and Klopp wants to find a stable goalie on whom he can rely on.

Some reports suggested that Kevin Trapp could be the choice, but the former Eintracht Frankfurt player has denied the possibility of moving away from ‘Parc de Princes.’

“For now, I want to stay. I am in Paris, even though I do not have enough playing time.” Trapp said in a recent interview.

Liverpool are also chasing other goalkeepers, with Roma’ shot-stopper Alisson Becker seems to be on the top of their list. The Reds biggest problem is the defense, so after Virgil Van Dijk, a proven keeper could be the next signing.
