According to the Daily Express, Manchester United and Liverpool are both looking to sign Borussia Dortmund winger Christian Pulisic in January transfer window.
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is seeking adequate reinforcement to strengthen his attack, and Pulisic is one of the players that caught his eye.
The 19-year-old winger has shown tremendous class since breaking into the Dortmund’s first-team last year. He is fast, has great technical and dribbling skills, and efficiently penetrates the opponent’s defenses.
However, Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho also likes the player very much, and he would reportedly do anything in his power to beat Liverpool in this race.
Henrikh Mkhitaryan has failed to make any sort of impact since his arrival from Dortmund, and Marcus Rashford had some ups and downs, so the former Inter manager wants to find a high-quality winger to boost his team ahead of the second half of the season.
Both teams desperately need reinforcements to maintain their Champions League’ promotion hopes, and there seems to be another derby battle outside the field.
