Liverpool will reportedly have to pay £90million to land top target

According to the Daily Mirror, AS Monaco have set £90 million price tag on midfielder Thomas Lemar, who have been chased by Liverpool and Arsenal.

After Coutinho’ departure, Jurgen Klopp is looking to find a suitable replacement for Brazilian playmaker.

Many attractive names are circling around, and those of Thomas Lemar and Riyad Mahrez are the most frequent ones. However, the former Caen midfielder has similar characteristics to those of Coutinho’, which gives him an advantage over the Algerian.

That said, Liverpool will have to put a huge amount of money if they want to land Lemar at Anfield as Monaco representatives have finally elected the price for their star player. Any club that would like to bring the 22-year-old Frenchman will have to splash around £90 million.

Lemar is a regular first-team member of both Monaco and France National Team, and it is natural that The Monegasques would be looking for a high figure to renounce his services.
