Barcelona have made Everton target, Paco Alcacer, available for sale but the Toffees will face stiff competition from Premier League rivals Crystal Palace for the signature of the Spanish international, according to the Daily Mail.

Everton have been on a lookout for a new striker since the sale of Romelu Lukaku over the summer and this has resulted in many forwards being linked with the Premier League side to replace the big Belgian.

Among many names suggested, Barcelona’s Paco Alcaceris regarded as the most high profile name and the Toffees are believed to be especially invested in the Spanish international.

However, Everton have failed to land Alcacer so far due to the Catalan’s giant’s reluctance to sell the forward due to lack of numbers in their team but as a huge boost, recent reports suggest that Barcelona are now open to listen offers for the Spanish attacker.

It is believed the recent signing of Philippe Coutinho has prompted the Blaugrana to change their stance on Alcacer and this might be the greatest opening for Everton to land the promising forward this January.
