Championship duo reportedly keen on Liverpool attacker

Anfield

Sheffield United and Bristol City are reportedly interested in signing Liverpool youngster Ryan Kent on loan for the second half of the season.

Kent recently returned to Anfield following an unsuccessful loan spell with Freiburg during the first half of the season during which he managed just six appearances for the German club.

Kent was a regular feature for Liverpool during the pre-season and the club are keen to send him to the Championship so that he can continue his development as a player.

The 21-year old spent last season on loan with Barnsley and went on to score three goals from 47 appearances for the club.

He has also had a loan spell with Coventry. Kent is unlikely to get much action if he stays with Liverpool for the second half of the season.

It is best for his confidence and development that he leaves the club on loan this month.
