Everton have been surprisingly linked with West Ham striker Diafra Sakho.
Sam Allardyce managed to bring in new striker Cenk Tosun to his side on Friday in a deal worth £27 million but he still wants to add another forward and could raid his former club West Ham in order to do so.
According to reports, Allardyce originally considered bringing Sakho to Goodsan Park as part of a deal which would have seen Kevin Mirallas going the other way.
The Belgian who needs to play as regularly as possible during the second half of the season to keep alive his world cup hopes has however since linked up with his former club Olympiacos.
Sakho has been playing irregularly so far this season and will be looking to find a new club where he can play regularly in order to keep alive his own chances of starting for Senegal at the 2018 World Cup.
