Newcastle United reportedly plotting a move to West Ham flop

Joe Hart

According to reports, Newcastle are planning a loan move for goalkeeper Joe Hart. Hart was sent on loan from Manchester City to West Ham during the summer.

He has since lost the first choice position at the Hammers to Adrian and this puts his chances of starting for England at the 2018 World Cup in jeopardy.

Newcastle manager Rafa Benitez was interested in bringing Hart on loan to St James Park during the summer but eventually ended up losing out to the Hammers.

The Magpies are currently considering reviving their interest considering that the keeper is not playing regularly.

A move would require West Ham and Hart’s parent club Manchester City to both agree to terminate the deal. At this stage, a move is necessary if Hart wants to revive his chances of playing for England at the World Cup.

Three Lions manager Gareth Southgate is demanding that his players play regularly if they want to play in the World Cup.
