Shanghai Shenhua striker Demba Ba has taken to Twitter to send a message to former Besiktas team-mate Cenk Tosun after the Turkey international joined Everton on Friday.
Ba, who is formerly of West Ham and Newcastle played alongside Tosun at Besiktas, during the 2014-15 season and again during the second half of the 2017-18 season.
Tosun has now joined Everton for a fee believed to be in the region of £27 million and the Merseysiders will be hoping that he can fill the void that was left by Romelu Lukaku who left the club to join Manchester United during the summer.
The 32-year old Ba has been in China since he left Besiktas during the summer of 2015.
He took to Twitter to send a message to Tosun and wrote: “Congratulations @CenkTosun_ on your move. Remember some of those skills i taught you couple of years back. You gonna need them out there #mashallah #tosunpasa #bephenomenal pic.twitter.com/WeQwoMNd3E”
