According to reports, Liverpool’s Lazar Markovic could soon be on his way to China.
An unnamed Chinese Super League club are reportedly willing to offer a sum of money in the region of £10 million for Markovic and while this offer is likely to be accepted by Liverpool, it remains to be seen whether the player will agree.
Markovic arrived at Anfield in a £22 million deal from Benfica in 2014 and he has failed to establish himself as a first team regular with neither Brendan Rodgers nor current boss Jurgen Klopp giving him regular game time.
The Serbian will be hoping to play for his country at the 2018 World Cup and a move away from the Reds will perhaps be the best thing that he can do at this stage in order to remain sharp.
During his time at Liverpool, Markovic has had loan spells with Hull City and Fenerbache and reports have also suggested that he could be set for another loan spell in Turkey.
