Famous Journalist Guillem Balague has claimed that Barcelona are looking to sign Liverpool star Philippe Coutinho during the January transfer window and added that the Reds are open to negotiating.
Balague said: “On future: LFC’s tone has changed -it seems they are open to all the options. Sell now, sell now for the summer. Keeping him beyond then seems the very last option. But no offer from FBC has arrived… yet.”
Coutinho was the subject of three bids from the Spanish giants for Coutinho during the summer but in the end the Reds insisted that they would not sell.
The Brazilian wanted to move to the Camp Nou as he handed in a transfer request in order to try and force through a move.
Despite the speculation surrounding his future, Coutinho has been in top form this season and has gone on to score 13 Premier League goals this season.
