The Bristol Post have reported that Leeds United have entered the race for Liverpool’s starlet Ryan Kent. Sheffield United, Derby and Middlesbrough have already shown great interest for young talent.
The 21-year-old winger is currently playing for Freiburg where he arrived on a loan last summer. Kent was brilliant in the Liverpool jersey during the preparation period in the youth team, and thanks to that, he went to the German club for further experience over the summer.
However, he has struggled to adapt to life in the Bundesliga and as a result, so returning to his homeland seems like a plausible solution.
The basic characteristics of the young forward are speed as well as excellent dribbling ability that allow him to easily go past the defenders.
If Leeds manage to sign the youngster, an additional plus for Thomas Christiansen’s team will be that the youngster already has experience playing in the Championship, where he spent a season on a loan at Barnsley.
Nonetheless, the competition for Kent’s signature will be fierce and Leeds will have to work hard if they want to engage him.
