According to reports, Everton have had a £26 million bid accepted for Besiktas striker Cenk Tosun.
The Turkey international is approaching the peak of his career and now is perhaps the right time for him to be playing in one of the World’s elite Leagues.
Meanwhile Tosun has been on fine form this season as he has gone on to score eight goals in the Turkish Super Lig as well as four in the Champions League.
His 30 yard rocket against Porto in the group stages was named the goal of the group stages in this year’s edition of the Champions League.
Everton have struggled up front for goals since the departure of Romelu Lukaku during the summer transfer window and need someone up front to provide support for Wayne Rooney.
On paper, Tosun is good enough but it remains to be seen whether he will actually perform.
