Brazilian legend Rivaldo believes that Philippe Coutinho has what it takes to succeed at Barcelona.
Coutinho was a priority target for the Catalan giants during the summer transfer window and they had three bids rejected for him.
Speculation is currently growing rife that Barcelona will once again attempt to sign Coutinho during the January transfer window.
Despite admitting that he does not know whether the move will go through, Rivaldo believes that his fellow Brazilian has what it takes to succeed with Barcelona.
“I do not know if the signing will be made or not because there is a lot of money,” he told Mundo Deportivo.
“But I am convinced that if he comes to Barca, he will succeed because it is easy to succeed here with the quality he has. The Barca fans will like his football.”
