According to reports, Liverpool and Everton target Stefan de Vrij has rejected a contract offer from AC Milan and is considering a new contract offer from Lazio.
The 25-year olds current contract with Lazio is set to expire at the end of the season and he has yet to reach an agreement with the club over a new deal.
Liverpool and Everton have been keeping tabs on the player while Inter Milan are also reported to have entered the race to sign him.
AC Milan are also reported to have entered into talks with de Vrij’s representatives, however it has since been revealed that the player rejected a move to the club as he is not excited about a move to the San Siro.
Lazio are still hopeful of securing a contract to keep de Vrij for the long-term and it is understood that the player has not outright rejected the possibility of this happening.
