Liverpool might have to pay £10million more for quality midfielder

Reports from the Daily Mirror, suggest that Liverpool’s fee for RB Leipzig’s Naby Keita will be governed by the Bundesliga side’s finish in the league at the end of the season.

Liverpool confirmed the signing of RB Leipzig’s Naby Keita earlier this season, with the Reds confirming that the move will go through at the end of the season.

At the time, it was believed that Liverpool will have to pay around £57million as the transfer fee for the talented midfielder but recent reports suggest that this fee is relevant only if Leipzig don’t finish in the European places.

Now recent reports suggests that if RB Leipzig finish in Europa League places this season, Liverpool will have to pay £62million for Keita and if the German side finish in Champions League places, the Reds will have to pay a whopping £66million.

As things stand, Liverpool might get the worst end of the deal as it looks like Leipzig might finish in the Champions League places.
