Allardyce reveals huge boost regarding attacker’s fitness

Everton have received a boost as manager Sam Allardyce has confirmed that Yannick Bolasie is in line to soon make a return to first team action.

The DR Congo international has not featured for the Toffees since suffering a cruciate ligament injury against Manchester United on December 4 last year.

Bolasie was impressive for the Toffees during the 16 games that he played before injury after arriving at the club in August 2016.

The Toffees will certainly be looking to improve upon their current position and his return could boost their chances of doing that.

Speaking ahead of his sides game against Liverpool, Allardyce confirmed that the player is closing in on a return and said, “Bolasie has started training with us, which is good news.

“A couple of games with the under 23’s or a behind closed doors game (could be all that he needs). As long as there is no reaction to the knee, we could see him on the subs bench to begin with.”
