Ian Wright has said that he believes that Liverpool will win the Merseyside derby which is set to take place on Sunday.
Wright said: “I think Sam has come in and in the first game they got the win, but the way Liverpool are attacking, I think that will be a really tough ask. I think Liverpool are going to beat them.”
The Toffees have been poor so far this season but do go into the game with some confidence having won their past two matches in succession.
Liverpool by contrast have been in good form recently and will certainly be the favourites going into the game.
The likes of Roberto Firmino, Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah who have proven to be three of the best attackers in the Premier League this season could also cause problems for Everton’s ageing backline.
