Everton keen on acquiring the services of towering Frenchman

According to reports, Everton are monitoring Sevilla’s Steven N’Zonzi.

The France international has fallen out with manager Eduardo Berizzo after he was substituted while playing against Liverpool in a Champions League clash last month.

The situation appears to not be good and N’Zonzi has been forced to train alone and was also left out of the club’s squads that played against Villarreal and Cartagena.

Everton have made a poor start to the season so far and new manager Sam Allardyce will no doubt be looking to strengthen his squad in January.

Allardyce is well aware of N’Zonzi’s qualities from his time at Blackburn and also watched the player in action when he was on the books of Stoke.

N’Zonzi was a target of Juventus last year but ended up signing an extension on his current deal with Sevilla which is valid until 2020.
