New Leicester manager Claude Puel has expressed his desire to sign PSG outcast Hatem Ben Arfa for his new side during the upcoming January transfer window, according to Mirror.
Claude Puel managed Ben Arfa during their time together at Nice and in this spell; the ex-Southampton manager brought the best out of the maverick Frenchman.
During the season under Puel, Ben Arfa scored 17 goals in all competition and this can be considered a very impressive record for an attacking midfielder.
However after that impressive campaign, the ex-Newcastle man has failed to even earn a first team place in the PSG squad – which has resulted in the stagnation of the career of the flamboyant star.
Nonetheless, there still seems to be some hope for Ben Arfa as Premier League side Leicester City look keen on signing the midfielder after new manager Puel expressed of his desire to reunite with his former star.
