Liverpool and Chelsea yet to agree on a price for attacker

Solanke

Liverpool and Chelsea still have to agree compensation terms for Dominic Solanke. The striker joined Liverpool during the summer transfer window from Chelsea.

Due to rules regarding home-grown players, Chelsea are still entitled to compensation, this despite the fact that the youngster’s contract with them has expired.

Solanke made a name for himself during the Fifa U-20 World Cup which was held in South Korea during the summer.  He went on to score four goals as England won the event and was named as player of the tournament.

He has thus far played ten games in all competitions for Liverpool this season and has yet to score his first goal for the club.

The youngster earned himself his first call-up to the England senior team for Tuesday’s friendly international against Brazil.

The London Evening Standard have said that Chelsea could use this to argue their case when the tribunal sits.
