Watford boss Marco Silva has reportedly informed Everton that he is not interested in becoming the club’s new full-time manager.
The Toffees have been without a manager since they sacked Ronald Koeman following their defeat to Arsenal in the Premier League last month and David Unsworth has been in charge of the club on a temporary basis since.
Silva was appointed as Watford manager after leaving Hull City following their relegation and the Hornets have so far played an impressive brand of football under him.
Other names that have been linked with the Toffees vacancy include Chris Coleman, Diego Simeone, Thomas Tuchel, Diego Simeone, Manuel Pellegrini and Sam Allardyce.
Bill Kenwright and Farhad Moshiri are said to be in disagreement over who to appoint at this point in time and Unsworth is likely to stay in charge of the club until after the international break.
