Liverpool handed a huge injury boost for Southampton clash

Liverpool midfielder Adam Lallana is set to return back into the Reds first team for the clash against Southampton after sitting out almost four months due to a thigh problem, as reported by the Daily Star.

Adam Lallana has been out injured since Liverpool’s preseason Audi Cup campaign but now as a boost for the Reds, the Englishman is finally going to be available in the clash against Southampton after the international break.

The match against Southampton could be Lallana’s first appearance in almost four monthand the flamboyant midfielder will hope that he can make an impression on his return to cement his place in the lineup once again.

While one cannot not expect a player having an injury lay off as long as Lallana to produce his best immediately, the Reds will definitely need the 29-year-old’s creativity against Southampton as the Saints possess one of the most resolute defenses in the division.
